The Kennesaw State Owls football team received 15 all-conference honors after finishing the regular season with a 10-1 overall record and an undefeated season in Big South play. Six players were selected to the first team while four players were selected to the second team. The Owls also won four end-of-season awards.
Owls head coach Brian Bohannon was named Big South Coach of the Year for the third time in his career. he also won the award in 2017 and 2018 after leading the Owls to conference titles.
Quarterback Xavier Shepherd was named Offensive Player of the Year after a historic season. He finished the season with 14 passing touchdowns and 19 rushing touchdowns which leads the FCS.
Kicker Nathan Robertson was named Special Teams Player of the Year after making all of his PATs and going 9-for-12 on his field-goal attempts. Robertson has 213 career points, making him the 12th player in conference history to reach the 200-point mark.
Linebacker Garland Benyard was named Defensive Freshman of the Year. He started the last five games of the regular season and recorded 28 tackles three tackles-for-loss, one sack, one forced fumble and a blocked punt.
