Former KSU Running Back Bronson Rechsteiner Makes WWE Debut

Former Kennesaw State Running Back Bronson Rechsteiner has made his WWE debut. On Tuesday night, WWE launched NXT 2.0, and Rechsteiner took on L.A. Knight in a singles match. Rechsteiner used the name “Bron Breakker” and defeated L.A. Knight via pinfall. The 23-year-old is no stranger to pro wrestling as he is the son of Rick Steiner and uncle of Scott Steiner. Both were members of the famous tag team the Steiner Brothers.

Rechstiener was a member of the Owls from 2016-2019. He started his career as a linebacker before moving to running back in 2017. Rechsteiner had a big season in 2019, rushing for 909 yards and seven touchdowns on just 112 carries. He holds the school record for most rushing yards in a single game, which happened in 2019 against Missouri State (221).
