KSU at Charleston Southern: Preview, How to watch

The Kennesaw State Owls are back. After having last week off, the Owls return to action today as they take on Charleston Southern in a Big South Conference battle. KSU is looking to remain undefeated in conference play as they have taken down Presbyterian College and Gardner-Webb before earlier this month.

Since losing to Georgia State to start the year, the Owls have won six consecutive games. During that stretch, the Owls have scored 317 points and allowed 10.3 points per game. In the first five games of the win streak, Kennesaw State became the first team in Big South history to limit five consecutive opponents to 13 points or less.

QB Chandler Burks is a big part of the Owls’ success this season. He has racked up 17 rushing touchdowns this season which leads all FCS and FBS quarterbacks. He’s on pace to score 26 touchdowns which be a conference record.

Charleston Southern comes in today’s game with a 3-3 record and 1-0 in conference play. Last week, the Buccaneers defeated Presbyterian College 41-7 and in the past two games, they have outscored their opponents 99-13. The Owls will need to watch out for RB Terrance Wilson and QB London Johnson as they have scored four rushing touchdowns this year.
