Owls RB Bronson Rechsteiner Inks Deal With Baltimore Ravens

Kennesaw State running back Bronson Rechsteiner is headed to the NFL. Following the NFL Draft on Saturday evening, Rechsteiner signed a free-agent deal with the Baltimore Ravens, the school announced.

In 2019, the Acworth, Georgia native was named an All-American by HERO Sports, rushing for 909 yards, seven touchdowns and he averaged 8.1 yards per carry. He set a school record with 221 yards on 10 attempts on Sept. 21, 2019, against Missouri State. Along with being named to the All-America team, Rechsteiner was a second-team All-Big South selection. He appeared in 48 games and helped the Owls win two Big South Conference championships, reach the FCS playoffs three consecutive seasons, and win four playoff games.

Rechsteiner joins a Ravens team that features quarterback Lamar Jackson who is the reigning NFL MVP. The team finished 13-3 last year and won the NFC North.
