KSU at Campbell: Preview, How to Watch

The Kennesaw State Owls are now in a really interesting situation. With the loss to Monmouth last week, winning the Big South Conference title for the third consecutive year will now be very challenging for the Owls. And with three games remaining, the Owls have to win out to not only give themselves a chance to win the conference, but they also need to win their final three games of the year to reach the playoffs.

The Owls face Campbell on Saturday and they are looking to win their seventh consecutive conference road game. And when it comes to coming off a loss, KSU knows how to bounce back as they are 5-0 following their last five losses. When the Owls fell to Kent State earlier in the year, they bounced back the following week, taking down Alabama State 42-7.

In order to win on Saturday, the run game will have to be on point. KSU still leads the country in rushing, averaging 360.9 rushing yards per contest. The Owls also lead the FCS in rushing touchdowns with 39. And despite struggling on defense last week, KSU ranks No. 10 in the FCS in scoring defense (17.7 points per game) and they rank seventh in the country in rushing defense (93 yards per game).

Campbell is coming off a 25-24 loss to North Alabama last week. The Camels are led by quarterback Hajj-Malik Williams who has thrown for close to 1,500 yards and he has only thrown five picks. The Camels are also strong in the run game as they average 195.6 yards per game.
