KSU at Alabama State: Preview, How to Watch

Week 3 has arrived for the Kennesaw State Owls and they are on the road for the second consecutive week to take on Alabama State. The Owls are coming off a 26-23 loss to Kent State, making their 0-2 against FBS opponents.

The one thing KSU is looking to avoid is losing consecutive games which haven’t happened since their inaugural season in 2015. They have won their last 18 regular-season games against FCS opponents and they have also won their last nine games against non-conference FCS teams.

Out of those 18 consecutive wins, two of them have been against Alabama State. Last year, the Owls blew past the Hornets 62-13 and in 2017 the Owls earned a 20-14 win. With two games under their belts this year, the Owls lead the Big South Conference in scoring offense (41 points per game) and scoring defense (13 points per game).

Alabama State comes into the game after getting a 38-31 win over Tuskegee. The Hornets were 4-7 last year and they are picked to finish fourth in the East Division of the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
